It has been reported that the Heathfield landfill site near Kingsteignton, Devon is scheduled for reopening by Viridor following a vote by the council to allow tipping again at the closed site.
This co-incides with the reported closure of Broadpath landfill site near Uffculme in the near future.
This will affect Valencia Communities Fund's funding areas in Devon, resulting in the cessation of the availability of funding from Valencia Communities Fund in the Broadpath area and the reopening of the fund in the Heathfield area.
Currently, Valencia Communities Fund has no firm time frame for the closure of funding in Broadpath or re-availability in Heathfield. Please keep monitoring the website or our Twitter account (@ViridorCredits) for information as it becomes available.
