From 1 February 2019, applicants whose projects are located in the vicinity of one 5 ERFs will be able to apply for up to £50,000 per project. This is an increase from the current cap of £20,000.
The new limit is in place to increase the viability of the projects funded in these areas and to widen Valencia Communities Fund's support for communities across England.
Projects located in areas within ten miles of both a Valencia landfill site and ERF site will qualify for the maximum funding limit: £100,000.
Qualifying ERF sites are:
- Runcorn
- Exeter
- Bolton
- Ardley (Oxfordshire)
- Peterborough
