Following the successful completion in 2013 of the update and replacement of play equipment in the park, the Park Committee returned to Valencia Communities Fund to make further improvements.
Pensilva is located four miles North West of Liskeard in East Cornwall. It is a small, isolated village and the park is an important amenity for residents of all ages.
Valencia Communities Fund was pleased to award the group a further £20,000 to install a circular footpath around the perimeter of the park and erect a dog-proof fence to protect the play equipment and children within.
We think the words of one of the users sums up the success of the two projects:
"Since the park has had improvements made, I find it a lot more interesting." Nyah, aged 12.
