Around 60,000 people visit the reserve annually to walk through the woodlands and view the spectacular waterfall, Corra Linn.
Wet weather access has always been an issue. The boardwalk originally had non slip grips installed on every other board along its 300m length. However, in wet and wintry weather it becomes very slippery making it a danger to the user.
Valencia Communities Fund was approached to fund £3,575 towards the cost of installing grips on all boards to ensure an improved and safer experience for all users.
