The overall project was to revive the old tennis courts in Rosewell Park. This included court resurfacing, installation of a SMART gate system and the upgrade of the existing broken floodlight system. Rosewell Tennis Club requested funding from Valencia Communities Fund of £25,000 towards the court resurfacing.
The Club opened its updated facilities in September 2022 and the future is bright for tennis in Rosewell. With the promotion of the sport via a series of roadshows. In February 2023, Rosewell was named as a shortlisted nominee for the LTA Park of the Year Award.
