Winton Cricket Club, located in Salford, Lancashire, has undergone significant redevelopment since receiving an award of £44,607 from Valencia Communities Fund.
This funding was used to enhance the club through the installation of a mechanical scoreboard, replacement practice nets and refurbishment of toilets and installation of a new DDA-compliant toilet.
Security of the site was also considered, and a new security fence was also purchased with the Valencia Communities Fund award.
The club is now in a great position to consolidate its standing as one of the areas most progressive clubs, boasting teams ranging from U9 and three senior teams.
